Gun Laws discussion
After reading chapters 10 and 11 and completing your 3-2-1, post your responses here. What did you find most interesting? What did you find most important? Were you able to think about gun laws? What comments or questions do you have?
In chapters 10 and 11 we feel states allowing people to conceal weapons with no permits is not safe although everyone arent killers having permits will help prevent violence is safe also its precautious.We found it important that 90% murders are commited by felons, so we came up with a idea to prevent felons from getting weapons from people who are able to buy weapons. Every two years gun shops should call in the person who purchased the gun to make sure they still have the gun in posession and make sure it was not lost or stolen or even sold.

ReplyDeleterenew gun permit and show proof of registerd gun every two years so that the state knows that the gun isnt circulating amongst those that are not supposed to have a gun,also before you get a gun they will have a background check to see if your record is clean of gun related charges or things that can lead to more gun violence like robbery
On Tuesday you will be planning your Wix presentation and working on creating your Dipity timeline. It sounds like you think that it is important that 90% of murders involve felons. As you plan, think about other facts you think are important to include in your presentation. The direction you are taking about permits might be something you want to include in your proposal for new gun legislation. Keep up the good work!~Denise

GREAT JOB! I love that you included pictures too! I agree with Denise that you should also include Sandy Hook Elementary, because it was a school shooting and it is the most recent horrific gun crime. -Lee Ann T.

DeleteI think you did a great job. You may want to add the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting as it was very recent and is foremost in many's thoughts. I see you added one statistic to the timeline. If you have time, add some more related information such as recent gun legislation. This would make the timeline more comprehensive. Again, great job!~Denise H.
